1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using vintagevaultresell.shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

2. ABOUT VINTAGE VAULT

Vintage Vault Resell Shop is an online consignment marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of vintage, antique, and collectible items. We are based in Oregon and operate exclusively on a consignment basis.

3. ELIGIBILITY

To use Vintage Vault, you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A registered user with a valid account
  • Capable of entering into a legally binding agreement
  • A resident of the United States

4. USER ACCOUNTS

All Users:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
  • Notify VV immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under their account

Sellers additionally agree to:

  • Complete the Seller Application process
  • Comply with the Seller Consignment Agreement
  • Maintain accurate item listings
  • Honor all exclusivity requirements

Buyers additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipping information
  • Complete purchases in good faith
  • Honor the 10-day inspection window policy
  • File disputes within the required timeframe

5. MARKETPLACE RULES

Prohibited Items: The following items may not be listed on Vintage Vault:

  • Counterfeit or fraudulent items
  • Stolen property
  • Hazardous materials
  • Illegal items of any kind
  • Items with false provenance claims
  • Reproductions represented as originals

Prohibited Conduct: Users may not:

  • Manipulate pricing or bidding
  • Harass other users or VV staff
  • Circumvent the VV payment system
  • Solicit off-platform transactions
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Use automated systems to access the site

6. LISTINGS & SALES

  • All listings are subject to VV approval
  • VV reserves the right to remove any listing at any time
  • Sellers are solely responsible for accuracy of listings
  • All items are sold As Is unless otherwise stated
  • VV is not responsible for seller misrepresentations

7. PAYMENTS & FEES

  • All payments processed through Stripe
  • Buyer pays item price + shipping + insurance
  • Seller commission deducted per Consignment Agreement
  • Funds held 10 days after confirmed delivery
  • No funds released during active disputes
  • All sales in US Dollars

8. SHIPPING

  • Buyer pays all shipping costs
  • Seller delivers to the VV designated shipper within 48 hours
  • All shipments include insurance coverage
  • Shipping damage claims filed within 48 hours of delivery
  • VV provides a one-time shipping number per sale

9. RETURNS & REFUNDS

  • All items sold As Is
  • The buyer has 10 days from delivery to file a dispute
  • Disputes accepted for:
    • Shipping damage
    • The item is significantly not as described
  • VV decision on disputes is final and binding
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of approval
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All VV content, including logos, images, and text, is the property of Vintage Vault
  • Users may not reproduce or distribute VV content without written permission
  • Sellers retain ownership of their item photographs
  • By listing on VV, sellers grant VV a license to display listing content

11. PRIVACY

Your use of Vintage Vault is also governed by our Privacy Policy available at: vintagevaultresell.shop/privacy-policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information and will never sell your data to third parties.

12. DISCLAIMERS

  • VV is not a certified appraiser
  • VV provides market research assistance only
  • VV makes no guarantee of item authenticity
  • VV makes no guarantee of item value
  • VV maintains relationships with certified appraisers for referral
  • VV is not responsible for items damaged or lost while in the seller’s possession

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • VV’s liability is limited to the transaction amount in dispute
  • VV is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • VV is not liable for third-party actions
  • VV is not liable for shipping carrier errors
  • VV is not liable for internet outages or technical failures

14. INDEMNIFICATION

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vintage Vault from any claims arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions
  • Misrepresentation of listed items
  • Infringement of third-party rights
  • Violation of any applicable law

15. SEASONAL INVITATIONAL AUCTION

  • Held 4 times per year
  • Open to all registered buyers
  • VIP buyers receive early preview access
  • All auction sales are final
  • Standard shipping and insurance policies apply
  • No returns on auction items unless proven misrepresented

16. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

VV reserves the right to terminate any account for:

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Misrepresentation of items
  • Conduct harmful to the VV community
  • Any illegal activity

17. MODIFICATIONS

Vintage Vault reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via:

  • Email notification
  • Site announcement
  • 30 days notice for major changes

Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oregon.
