Shipping Policy

OUR SHIPPING COMMITMENT
Vintage Vault is committed to ensuring every item reaches its new home safely, securely, and professionally. All shipments are handled through VV designated shipping partners selected specifically for each item type.
1. SHIPPING COSTS
- Buyer pays all shipping costs at checkout
- Shipping cost calculated based on item size, weight, and destination
- Shipping insurance included on all shipments
- All shipping costs displayed clearly before purchase confirmation
2. VV DESIGNATED SHIPPERS

3. SELLER SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITIES
Upon notification of a sale:
- Seller has 48 hours to deliver item to designated shipper
- VV provides a one-time shipping number billed to VV
- Item must be properly packaged for safe transport
- Seller must obtain and retain drop-off receipt as proof of delivery
4. FAILURE TO SHIP
| Occurrence | Consequence |
|---|---|
| First offense | Written warning issued |
| Second offense | Listing suspended |
| Third offense | Permanent removal from platform |
5. SHIPPING INSURANCE
- All shipments include insurance coverage
- Coverage based on declared sale value of item
- Items valued over $1,000 require additional insurance
- Insurance cost included in buyer’s shipping fee
- VV maintains complete insurance records for all transactions
6. SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS
If item arrives damaged buyer has two options:
Option 1 – Direct Claim:
- Buyer contacts shipper directly
- Uses provided tracking and insurance information
- Handles claim independently
Option 2 – VV Assisted Claim:
- Contact contactus@vintagevaultresell.shop
- VV mediates claim with designated shipper
- Resolution within 5-7 business days
- Funds held during claim process
7. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES
Delivery times vary based on:
- Item size and shipping method
- Buyer and seller locations
- Carrier availability
- VV is not responsible for carrier delays
8. TRACKING
- All shipments include tracking numbers
- Tracking information provided to buyer upon shipment
- Seller retains drop-off receipt as proof of delivery
9. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
- Vintage Vault currently ships within the United States only
- International shipping available on select items by request
